Responsibilities: 1. Tracking cash flows and Financial Planning: The FH is expected to manage and monitor the cash position every day, manage payments as well as have a projection of a week's cash flows at any given time. He/ She is expected to arrange for (cost effective) funds on a timely manner. 2. Ensuring maintenance of Books of Accounting and timely preparation of required reports: The HF should ensure that books are maintained and the required MIS are prepared and shared externally/ internally on time. It is also his/her duty to make sure that deviations/ points of concern are addressed on time/ taken up with the board as required. 3. Ensuring legal and statutory compliances: The company's legal and statutory compliances should be taken up and addressed in a timely fashion such that there is no default/ non compliance. 4. Leading discussions with Investors (existing and potential), bankers , Financers and other stake holders about the Financial position of the company: there will periodically be a need for discussions on the financial position of the company with various external parties such as investors, bankers and strategic partners , financiers( for financing arrangements) , auditors etc. The HF is expected to play an active role in leading such discussions. 5. Trusted Advisor to the Company: The HF should understand the business model and operational flow of the company and advise the company on optimal financial and cash management practices and strategies. Act as a Strategy Consultant to business (and functional partners) and integrate Finance into the decision-making process and develop and/or challenge strategic business decisions 6. Play an integral role in all the planning cycles (Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan, Monthly Forecast). Drive the long-term growth plans and resources needed to make that happen. 7. Reviewing Financial Statements, Preparation of board decks - Work closely with the accounting teams and perform deep-dive analysis on sales, costs, and profitability of all business lines 8. Draft analytical summaries for the CEO & Board. Help measure the impact of strategic decisions and align the management team around it. 9. Identify trends and generate detailed financial and operational projection. Be responsible for developing reliable estimates of sales, margin, SG&A costs. 10. Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue improvement - Identifying financials risks and raising early warning signal. 11. Collaborate with Sales team, design pricing models, evaluate pricing effectiveness and assist in pricing decisions. 12. Provide periodic Investors' reports, address Investor queries on the company's performance What are we looking for: - CA with 14 + years of relevant experience - Independently managed end to end Finance operations for a funded company for at least 5-8 years - Possess in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. - Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods - Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with all functions - Prior Entrepreneurial or Startup experience would be a huge advantage - Team Management and Performance Reviews The role is based out of our HQ in Bangalore
