BLive is building a full-stack EV mobility platform enabling enterprise logistics, fleet management, and sustainability-driven operations.
Our ecosystem includes:
- 3PL logistics platform (orders, riders, dispatch, payouts)
- Fleet SaaS platform (asset lifecycle, telematics, utilisation)
- Enterprise dashboards & ESG systems
- Mobile apps for riders and operators
We operate in a high-scale, operations-heavy environment where design directly impacts efficiency, revenue, and execution on ground.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Design Manager who will own and drive the entire design function across our 3PL and SaaS platforms.
This is not a pure design role - this is a product-facing leadership role where you will:
- Define end-to-end user experiences across multiple systems
- Build and manage a scalable design system
- Ensure consistency across web dashboards and mobile apps
- Work closely with product and engineering to deliver execution-ready designs
You will be responsible for making complex operational workflows simple, fast, and reliable for users.
What You'll Own
End-to-end design across:
- 3PL logistics platform (orders, dispatch, rider flows)
- Fleet SaaS dashboards (inventory, tracking, analytics)
- Mobile apps (rider app, ops app)
- Design system and UI consistency across products
- UX for operations-heavy workflows
- Design quality across all releases
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & UX Ownership
Define user journeys across:
- Order lifecycle (creation - allocation - delivery - closure)
- Fleet lifecycle (onboarding - allocation - usage - maintenance - return)
- Rider lifecycle (onboarding - allocation - earnings - retention)
- Translate complex business flows into clear, intuitive UX
- Ensure low-friction execution for ops teams and riders
2. Design System & Scalability
Build and maintain a centralised design system:
- Components
- Typography
- Interaction patterns
Ensure consistency across:
- Web dashboards
- Mobile apps
- Enable faster design - development cycles
3. Execution & Delivery
Own design delivery timelines aligned with product roadmap
Work closely with product managers on:
- PRDs
- Wireframes
- High-fidelity designs
- Ensure designs are engineering-ready (no ambiguity)
4. Cross-Platform Experience Design
Design for:
- Admin dashboards (data-heavy, decision-focused)
- Mobile apps (rider/ops usability under real-world constraints)
Handle edge cases:
- Low connectivity environments
- High-frequency usage scenarios
- Real-time operational actions
5. Data-Driven Design
Use product and ops data to:
- Identify UX gaps
- Improve workflows
- Reduce friction in key journeys
- Work with analytics dashboards and feedback loops
6. Team Management & Design Culture
- Manage and mentor designers
- Set design standards and review processes
Build a culture of:
- Ownership
- Speed
- Quality
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Product team - define features and flows
- Engineering - ensure feasibility and implementation accuracy
- Operations - validate real-world usability
- Participate in UAT and ensure design integrity in production
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in product design (UI/UX)
Experience working on:
- SaaS platforms
- Logistics / mobility / operations-heavy products
Strong expertise in:
- User flows and interaction design
- Dashboard design (data-heavy interfaces)
- Mobile-first design
- Proven ability to handle complex systems and workflows
- Strong execution capability (not just conceptual design)
- Experience managing or mentoring designers
Proficiency in tools like:
- Figma (mandatory)
- Prototyping tools
- Ability to work closely with product and engineering teams
Good to Have
- Experience in EV / fleet / logistics domain
Exposure to:
- Design systems at scale
- Multi-tenant or role-based platforms
- Understanding of basic frontend constraints
