Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist


We're on the hunt for an elite Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist laser-focused on Guidewire development.

This isn't a standard recruiting role-it's a strategic imperative to assemble a world-class team of Guidewire experts who will propel BlitzenX.

You'll need deep expertise in Guidewire ecosystems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), mastery of technical sourcing, and the tenacity to identify and secure top 1% talent in Chennai's fiercely competitive market.

Collaborate with visionary leaders to build an unstoppable talent pipeline that fuels our exponential growth.

Key Responsibilities.

- Elite Sourcing & Headhunting: Proactively hunt for exceptional Guidewire developers using advanced channels like LinkedIn Premium, niche tech forums, referrals, and competitive intelligence to outmaneuver rivals.

- Rigorous Screening & Assessment: Design and execute multi-stage evaluations, including technical deep-dives into Guidewire proficiency, Java/GOSU coding challenges, and problem-solving simulations to filter for only the highest-caliber candidates.

- Strategic Partnership: Align tightly with engineering leads and executives to refine role specs, craft compelling narratives, and define success profiles that emphasize innovation, speed, and impact.

- Market Domination: Conduct in-depth analysis of Guidewire talent trends, competitive compensation landscapes, and emerging skills in Chennai and beyond to ensure BlitzenX attracts and retains the best.

- Candidate Journey Optimization: Architect a high-touch, high-velocity recruitment process that wows candidates, from hyper-personalized outreach to seamless onboarding, while maintaining a rejection rate that upholds our elite standards.

- Talent Pipeline Architecture: Forge a robust, forward-looking reservoir of Guidewire superstars, anticipating needs for rapid scaling.

- Brand Evangelism: Amplify BlitzenX's reputation as the Tesla of insurtech through targeted campaigns, events, and storytelling that magnetize ambitious professionals.

- Performance Analytics: Leverage data-driven insights to optimize recruitment KPIs (e.g., quality-of-hire, diversity metrics, cost-per-hire) and report directly to leadership on strategies for sustained dominance.

Qualifications.

- To excel in this role, you must demonstrate proven mastery and a track record of excellence.

- We're seeking candidates who embody the intensity and ingenuity of Tesla's top performers.

- 5+ years in high-stakes technical talent acquisition, with 2+ years exclusively dedicated to Guidewire or insurtech recruiting.

- Demonstrated success in placing elite talent for complex Guidewire implementations, with quantifiable metrics (e.g., 80%+ retention rate for hires).

- Profound knowledge of Guidewire suites, including integrations, customizations, and best practices in Java, GOSU, Spring, Hibernate, and cloud-native architectures.

- Experience with Guidewire certifications and assessing candidates on real-world scenarios like performance optimization and scalable deployments.

- Advanced proficiency in sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow) and ATS systems; ability to leverage AI tools for predictive hiring.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to close deals with passive, high-demand candidates.

- Analytical mindset with experience in talent market forecasting and competitive benchmarking.

- Unwavering drive, resilience, and a bias for action-comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Certifications like SHRM-CP, LinkedIn Recruiter Expert, or Guidewire-specific training are highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven experience scaling talent acquisition in hyper-growth tech firms, ideally in insurtech or fintech.

- Deep insights into Agile/DevOps methodologies and their application in Guidewire projects.

- A vast network of Guidewire luminaries across India and globally, with a history of poaching from top competitors.

- Passion for innovation, evidenced by personal projects, contributions to tech communities, or thought leadership in recruitment.
