Role : Head of Online Business Job Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru (on-site) JD: - Since its inception in 2020, Blissclub has become one of the fastest growing brand with an ever-growing community of women who love to #keepmoving with us. - Blissclub is looking for a visionary and results-driven Head of Online Business to lead our direct-to-consumer (D2C) and marketplace e-commerce operations. - This role is critical in driving the growth and success of our online platforms, including our website, mobile app, and marketplace channels. - The Head of Online Business will own the end-to-end P&L, ensuring both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability. - This role also includes leading strategic initiatives, scaling operations, and building and managing a high-performing team to drive the business forward. Key Responsibilities: P&L Ownership: - Own the P&L for the online business, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability. - Develop and execute strategies to drive top-line sales growth while maintaining or improving bottom-line performance. - Monitor and analyze financial performance, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to achieve financial goals. Online Business Strategy: - Lead the development and execution of the overall online business strategy, including website, app, and marketplace channels. - Identify growth opportunities and develop initiatives to expand the online customer base, increase customer lifetime value, and improve overall business performance. - Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Blissclub's online business remains competitive. Team Leadership and Development: - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across various functions, including e-commerce, digital marketing, product management, and customer experience. - Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement. - Identify talent needs and manage the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent within the online business unit. E-commerce Operations: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the website, app, and marketplace channels, ensuring seamless customer experiences and optimized conversion rates. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure alignment and operational excellence. - Manage relationships with key external partners, including technology providers, payment processors, and marketplace platforms. Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition: -Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across online channels. - Utilize data-driven insights to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through targeted campaigns, personalization, and loyalty programs. - Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI. Product and User Experience: - Lead the development and enhancement of the website and app to improve user experience, functionality, and conversion rates. - Work with product teams to ensure the online product offerings meet customer needs and market demand. - Drive continuous improvement in site performance, speed, and reliability. Strategic Initiatives and Innovation: - Identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and enhance the overall online business. - Explore new business models, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand Blissclub's online presence and market share. - Lead the implementation of innovative technologies and processes that improve efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration from a Tier-1 Institute - Experience: 8+ years of experience in e-commerce or online business management, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability. - Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L. - Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies. - Excellent leadership and team-building skills with experience in scaling teams and operations. - Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
