Blinkit - Instock Management Role

Role Overview:

The Instock Management role is central to Blinkit's promise of instant delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that our dark stores are optimally stocked to meet consumer demand without over-indexing on inventory. Working closely with category managers, supply chain analysts, and warehouse operations teams, you will balance the trade-offs between availability and wastage. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by ensuring that the products they want are always available, while simultaneously driving the financial health of our inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end inventory health for assigned categories to ensure high fill rates and minimal stock-outs across the dark store network.

- Execute demand planning strategies by analyzing historical sales data, seasonality, and local trends to forecast requirements accurately.

- Coordinate with vendors and supply chain partners to streamline replenishment cycles and ensure timely inwarding of stock.

1. Own in stock availability and inventory health of assigned categories:

- Work closely with category managers to identify gaps and design programs to bridge availability and inventory health gaps.

- Identify key problem statements and design solutions with replenishment tech, category managers, and vendors to solve things at scale.

- Work closely with vendors to drive fill rates to ultimately drive instock percentage.
