Role Overview:

We are looking for a Fleet Head to lead and scale fleet operations across the network. The role will be responsible for ensuring optimal fleet availability, productivity, service levels and cost efficiency while driving strong performance from fleet partners and ground operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- 1. Lead end-to-end fleet operations across cities/hubs and ensure adequate fleet capacity based on business demand.

- 2. Develop and execute fleet strategy aligned with business growth, order volumes and operational requirements.

- 3. Drive fleet productivity, utilization, availability and cost efficiency.

- 4. Own key fleet metrics including cost per order, cost per km, utilization, productivity, fill rate, TAT and SLA adherence.

- 5. Manage and develop relationships with fleet vendors, logistics partners and delivery partners.

- 6. Drive vendor performance, commercial negotiations, SLA adherence and partner productivity.

- 7. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency across the fleet ecosystem.

- 8. Work closely with City Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, Business teams to improve fleet performance.

- 9. Build scalable processes for fleet planning, capacity management, deployment and performance monitoring.

- 10. Lead large teams and manage multi-city/multi-location operations.

- 11. Use data and analytics to identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement.

- 12. Own fleet-related escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

- 13. Develop MIS/dashboards and performance reviews for senior leadership.

Candidate Profile:

- 1. 8 - 15 years of experience in Fleet Management / Last Mile / Logistics / Supply Chain Operations.

- 2. Experience managing large-scale fleet operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

- 3. Strong experience in vendor/partner management and commercial negotiations.

- 4. Demonstrated experience in cost optimization, productivity improvement and operational scaling.

- 5. Strong understanding of last-mile delivery and fleet economics.

- 6. Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

- 7. Experience managing large teams and multiple cities/locations will be preferred.

- 8. Candidates from Quick Commerce, E-commerce, 3PL, Last Mile, Logistics, Mobility or Food Delivery backgrounds preferred.
