BLinC Invest - Associate - Venture Capital

Key roles & responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Conducting in-depth primary and secondary research to identify investment opportunities in the Education and Financial Services sectors

2. Supporting the entire deal lifecycle starting from deal sourcing to deal closure

3. Assisting in conducting the business due diligence of the investment opportunities and pitching an investment proposal to the Investment Committee

4. Internal documentation related to the deal flow process from Factsheets to Investment Committee Notes

Who are we looking for :

1. Analytical and creative problem solver with a strong quantitative background

2. 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, strategic corporate development (M&A), venture capital, private equity investing, or management consulting

3. Experience in entrepreneurial environments and the flexibility to work in both highly structured corporate settings and less structured start- up environments

4. Sound understanding of businesses in the Financial Services and Technology (FinTech) and/or Education sector

5. Extensive financial modeling skills

6. Proficient in working with presentations and spreadsheets

7. Self-driven personality along with excellent oral, communication, and presentation skills

8. Graduates/MBA/CA candidates are preferred
