Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Function: EBO
Position based at: Mumbai
Reports To: VP -Sales
Education: MBA or equivalent
Job Description:
1. Sales & Revenue Management:
- Achieve regional sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Monitor store-wise performance and implement corrective action plans.
- Drive like-to-like (LTL) growth and improve conversion rates.
- Plan and execute seasonal sales strategies and promotions.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
2. Retail Operations Management:
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, VM standards, and brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment, and sell-through.
- Coordinate with merchandising and supply chain teams for optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure shrinkage control and compliance with company policies.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor Area Managers / Store Managers.
- Set KPIs and monitor performance through periodic reviews.
- Conduct sales training and product knowledge sessions.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
4. Franchise Management (if applicable):
- Manage relationships with franchise partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely collections.
- Identify and onboard new partners to expand regional footprint.
5. Market Expansion:
- Identify potential locations for new store openings.
- Conduct feasibility studies and competitor benchmarking.
- Coordinate with real estate and expansion teams for store launches.
6. Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare regional sales reports and forecasts.
- Present business reviews to senior management.
- Monitor key metrics: ASP, sell-through %, inventory turnover, discount levels, and profitability.
