
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Operations professional to lead and manage the efficient delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle. This role is critical in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient HR processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional HR teams, including various HR COEs. The person in this role should have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones. This role will be based out of Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
In alignment with enterprise global standards
- Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes - from onboarding to offboarding
- Ensure timely generation of letters, contracts, and documentation
- Manage employee records in the HRIS with 100% accuracy
2. HR Systems & Data Management
- Lead the Workday support team ensuring day-to-day systems support, including reorganization events done manually or via mass update (e.g. iLoad / EIB)
- Have knowledge of HR Data Privacy and comply with data privacy rules and regulations
- Manage HR data integrity across systems and provide insights through regular dashboards and analytics
- Manage vendor system enhancements and prioritized implementations
- Provide support, as needed, during Workday Release testing and planned configuration changes
3. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Provide accurate payroll inputs and validate payroll reports before disbursement
- Manage benefits enrolment, claims, and vendor management
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.) with applicable labour laws
4. Policy & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and internal controls
- Support audits and maintain necessary documentation
- Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and recommend necessary policy updates
5. Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes
- Support or lead HR transformation projects
- Implement best practices in HR service delivery and performance tracking
6. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with global HR leaders, regional HR teams, and business stakeholders to drive initiatives forward and for seamless service delivery
- Navigate cultural nuances and time zone challenges to ensure effective collaboration
- Serve as the primary contact for Local HR operational queries
- Handle escalations with professionalism and ensure timely resolution
Qualifications & Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in HR Operations
- Demonstrated experience working with global teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Strong understanding of HR processes and Indian labour laws
- Exceptional attention to detail, process orientation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Exposure to HR transformation projects and process improvement initiatives
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving business environments
- Hands-on experience with Workday or a similar tier 1 global HCM, proficiency in MS Office and experience with HR analytics
