B.K. Khare & Co - Corporate Taxation Role

- Direct Tax Advisory: Advising and compliance services, on domestic and internationally (this includes documents review and advising on applicable tax withholding), including the Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing, International Tax.

- Independently handle tax engagements. Prepare submissions, attend to assessment and appeal hearings before the CIT(A) and Tribunals.

- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the tax authorities, relevant members of the business and functional teams, other members of the local tax and international tax teams and external service providers.

- Lead and coordinate the tax management of assignments, with guidance from the Partner and manage risk and independence issues on client engagements.

- Be actively involved in business development activities to identify and research on opportunities on new/ existing clients. Assist tax partners and senior management on proposals and business development calls.

- Support the tax risk management and assurance process in the Group Tax function

- Handle multiple projects including transfer pricing documentation, planning, restructuring, inter-company transaction consulting and pricing

- Develop transfer pricing solutions and policies

- Research and conclude on technical transfer pricing issues

- Provide advice regarding transfer pricing controversy issues

- Consult with clients on economically significant aspects of their business operations

- Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform tax services.

- Keep up to date with local and national business & economic issues.

- Continue to develop internal relationships and the firm's brand.

- Take responsibility for proper tax filing and tax document retention in relation to the direct tax compliance matters.
