- As BiteSpeed continues scaling rapidly on our path from $8M to $50M ARR, we want to build financial discipline that scales with us.
- This is an important hire in our fast-growing finance team, playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial backbone and partnering directly with the founders, leadership, and investors as we accelerate growth.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage all core financial operations - payroll, payouts, vendor management, reimbursements, and accounts receivables.
- Own all statutory and regulatory compliance including PF, PT, GST, TDS, ROC filings, and ensuring everything is buttoned-up and audit-ready.
- Build and maintain robust financial models that help us plan, predict, and steer the company with clarity.
- Run BiteSpeed's budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with functional heads to bring accuracy, accountability, and visibility.
- Manage cash flow like a hawk - from daily working capital decisions to long-term cash planning.
- Maintain and strengthen banking, investor, and auditor relationships, becoming the single source of truth for external stakeholders.
- Support fundraising by building investor-ready reports, decks, and projections.
- Create and implement finance SOPs, policies, and best practices suited for a scaling SaaS business.
- Constantly find ways to improve operational efficiency, reduce financial leakage, and optimise cost structures.
- Ensure smooth completion of statutory audits, including coordination with a Big 4 audit partner.
What makes you a good fit:
- You're a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience across finance controllership, accounting, or FP&A roles .
- You've either built or scaled the finance function in a SaaS or tech-first company.
- You love early-stage chaos and can switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and building financial reports come naturally to you.
