We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own and elevate our Competitive Intelligence function at Birdeye.
This isnt just a market research role this is about turning signals into strategy, intel into impact, and data into decision-making ammo across the org.
You'll be the central nervous system between Product, Sales, and Marketing analyzing competitive moves, pre-empting threats, and enabling our GTM teams to win.
What Youll Own.
Track & Decode the Competitive Landscape.
- Monitor changelogs, roadmap updates, marketing campaigns, customer forums, and technical documentation from key competitors.
- Perform deep-dive teardowns of competitor websites, support portals, pricing strategies, messaging frameworks, and feature launches.
- Stay on top of ecosystem shiftsemerging entrants, adjacent solutions, and whitespace opportunities.
Build and Scale Competitive Intel Systems.
- Create dynamic CI assets battle cards, threat assessments, win/loss analyses, SWOTs, pitch decks, and competitor matrixes.
- Run a recurring CI newsletter thats essential reading for Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams.
- Own and scale our real-time CI channelkeeping the entire frontline plugged into actionable insights.
Enable GTM with Confidence.
- Train sales and success teams on objection handling, competitive narratives, and live-deal counterplays.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to integrate CI into positioning, roadmap, launch planning, and feature differentiation.
- Drive alignment across GTM functions with crystal-clear messaging that resonates across the funnel.
Influence Strategic Product & Marketing Decisions.
- Partner with Product, CX, and Revenue leadership to surface competitor-informed opportunities and threats.
- Shape roadmap conversations by highlighting key differentiation points and latent customer demands.
- Be the "early warning system" that detects threats before they reach the scoreboard.
What You Bring.
- 4+ years in Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, or GTM enablement preferably in high-velocity B2B SaaS.
- Experience conducting market and competitor research that drives strategy and front-line execution.
- Deep understanding of SaaS buyer journeys, GTM lifecycles, and product-led growth (PLG).
- Fluency with tools like Gong, Klue, Crayon, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills visual storytelling, crisp writing, and high-fidelity decks are second nature.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and work cross-functionally with speed and precision.
