SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: This position is a critical role leading the commercial insights for Bira 91. The role will be accountable for driving the insights agenda for the business and will deliver best in class insights to help grow the business. This role will require a solid understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research, as well as experience with translating learnings into actionable insights. This individual will have strong relationships with senior management and cross-functional partners at both the global and Division levels. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Driving commercial teams globally to fully understand trends, consumers, shoppers, and their needs; identify opportunities for growth, transform ideas into concepts, products and projects that drive Bira 91's global agenda. - Areas of focus to include digital, eCommerce, consumer journey, brand track, retailer, NPS & competition. - influence category management teams by actively and persuasively representing consumer and marketplace dynamics to take informed long term business strategies - Drive insights agenda, together with local teams for Brand positioning, packaging, communication, experiential activities, etc. Assist in building insights driven marketing programs. - Track Brand Awareness & KPIs at master brand, variant & market level. - Drive the innovation initiative to facilitate, identify and streamline future innovation pipeline. Post Launch tracking of existing innovations to identify measures of success, justify ROI and further growth imperatives - Challenge the status quo by utilizing data in new and unique ways, search beneath the numbers to bring strategic focus, raise questions, and best position, grow, and develop - Deeply understand competitors (beer and alcohol), anticipate their strategic moves. - Use insights to support internal teams in Marketing, Sales & Ops, Finance and Planning with the above reporting on time - Uses knowledge of key macro trends and leads understanding of consumer, market, and competitive landscape to diagnose business performance and address focused business issues, Monitoring competitors' activities and market - Uses broader range of research tools/resources/processes (not limited to primary research) to assess business issues; proactively identifies the key business issues/questions and develops the most appropriate analytic plan to address business/ research needs. - Integrates knowledge from multiple sources and creates meaningful interpretations and recommendations that address business issues and ensures alignment with key business partners. Influences others in the implementation of action steps to drive the business. Business Planning & Reporting : - Management reporting for Marketing: 3 to 5-year strategic plan, ABP, quarterly plan & monthly plan. - Prepare business plans & templates for all stakeholders - Custodian of Marketing Budget & Marketing Calendar for all Markets - Track plan vs Actuals for all marketing projects - Manage & track marketing ROI; work with Brand Managers on continuous optimization & validation of marketing activations QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET: - Management Graduate from premier institute - 8+ years of experience
