The General Manager / Plant Head will provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction to ensure the organization's growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
This role requires oversight of all functional areas including Production, Operations, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, R&D, HR, and Finance, with a strong focus on fermentation and enzyme manufacturing excellence.
The General Manager / Plant Head will represent the company to key stakeholders, promote innovation, and foster a high-performance culture.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the entire organization.
- Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Oversee and coordinate all departmental functions to ensure alignment and synergy (Production, Operations, QA, QC, R&D, HR, Finance, etc.
- Ensure smooth execution of fermentation and enzyme manufacturing processes.
- Represent the company to external stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and clients.
- Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high performing management team.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years, with at least 5 years as a General Manager / Plant Head.Tech in Biotechnology / M.
- Knowledge of fermentation and enzyme manufacturing processes.
- Strong decision-making, business acumen, and leadership qualities.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage large-scale operations.
