BiofuelCircle - Manager - Logistics

Key Purpose of the Role:

BiofuelCircle platform facilitates spot, short-term and long-term deals.

The deals create delivery obligations on the platform.

The key purpose of this position is to set up a suitable delivery services network, plan and execute logistics services.

This position will be responsible for planning, tracking, and controlling the material delivery of both liquid and solid biofuels between Biomass Processors who consume biomass to convert into densified products or liquid fuels and the end consumer of the biomass.

Develop, and manage the transport network for Biofuels in one of India's leading new businesses across the length and breadth of the country.

What Key Tasks will be involved?

Delivery Schedule Planning:

- Create a delivery plan / schedules based on business transacted on the platform.

- Provide an operational plan to the platform participants based on the material availability from various locations.

Logistics & Transport Desk:

- Monthly, Weekly & Daily planning of deliveries.

- Platform Deliveries Data Completion.

Operations Control:

- Escalations on non-compliance of transactions.

- Ensuring dispatch schedule and transporter allocation.

- Supporting market participants on any operational issues faced on the platform.

- Prepare and manage reports and MIS as required by the Operations head.

- Lead strategic operational and process improvement initiatives across the supply chain logistics function with the team.

- Conduct operating internal audits for delivery process in the organization for maintaining smooth workflow process.

- Create a network of transport and logistics partners/ own fleet to operate a cost optimized logistics service.

Experience: 8 to 10 years.
