Biocon Biologics - Director - Portfolio Strategy

Job Description:

Portfolio director will be a core member of the Portfolio Strategy Team and would have the opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team to help shape the Company's product portfolio and support strategic decision-making through robust analysis of market opportunities, trends, pipeline prioritization, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development and execution of portfolio strategy across therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market trends.

- Conduct comprehensive portfolio reviews, including assessment of pipeline assets, lifecycle management, and risk/benefit analysis.

- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and unmet medical needs to identify growth opportunities and inform portfolio decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Finance etc.) to evaluate new product opportunities, business cases, and strategic initiatives.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and scientific advancements impacting portfolio strategy.

Requirements:

- 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in strategy either at a management consulting firm or similar role at a Pharma or Biotech player.

- Strong preference was someone with techno-commercial skills e.g. Medical Affairs.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and develop actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

- Bachelor's and/ or Master's Degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology or Life Sciences; MBA preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
