Position: Purchase Manager.
Experience: 5-10 years.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager responsible for procurement and inventory management of CCTV systems, GPS devices, laptops, sensors, and electronic hardware.
The candidate must have direct OEM working experience, strong vendor negotiation skills, and hands-on expertise in inventory planning and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & OEM Management:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of CCTV, GPS devices, laptops, sensors, and accessories.
- Liaise directly with OEMs, manufacturers, and authorized distributors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, warranties, and payment terms.
- Evaluate and onboard vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product launches.
Inventory Management:
- Plan and control inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for all products.
- Ensure accurate inventory records including serial numbers, IMEI, and batch tracking.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for stock inward, outward, and physical verification.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Manage aging stock, slow-moving items, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
Coordination & Compliance:
- Work closely with projects, operations, finance, and technical teams for demand forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Handle warranty claims, RMAs, and replacements with OEMs.
- Manage logistics coordination and timely material availability.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, GPS, laptops, sensors, and electronic hardware.
- Proven experience in direct OEM procurement.
- Hands-on experience in inventory planning, control, and audits.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory tools, and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage high-value and serialized inventory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Electronics / Supply Chain / Management.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in technology hardware procurement & inventory.
- Direct OEM interaction experience is mandatory.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to IoT, surveillance, telematics, or automation industries.
- Experience handling bulk procurement and multi-location inventory.
- Knowledge of import/export and compliance standards.
