Objective: The company is looking for the right leader as DGM / GM - Accounts, Unit Ballarpur . The position is responsible for managing the entire Accounting Function of the Unit which has an annual turnover of over Rs. 2000 Cr. 2. Profile: This position will monitor the overall Accounting activities of the Unit encompassing all Accounting functions as well as Costing. This also includes statutory compliances like TDS, GST etc. 3. Position Title: Dy. General Manager / General Manager. 4. Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Vice President - Accounts & Taxation, BGPPL and Administratively to Unit Head. 5. Key Responsibilities: Accounting - Maintain accounting records as per Indian Accounting Standards. - Maintain adherence to the standard established work procedures and ensure zero deviation on the same. - Monthly closing of books of accounts after due consideration of all vouchers & booking of all valid expenses. Auditing - Audit of annual accounts, tax accounts, and annual costs. Budgeting - Finalize the annual budget for the unit within the specified time. Cashflow Management - Arranging and managing funds as per company requirements. - Engage with Lenders continuously to ensure smooth flow of funds and payment process. - Take appropriate measures in controlling working capital and by highlighting the blockages. Compliance - Maintain statutory compliances by ensuring payments like TDS, GST etc. Costing - Drive process and product costing for the entire unit. Also, update the Contribution chart for input to Marketing & Sales. Fixed Assets - Updation of fixed assets register. MIS - Monthly submission of MIS to the Head Office. Also, report Daily Dashboard to Lenders. People Development - Plan, promote, and organize training activities with a focus on subordinate development preparing them to take up future roles and responsibilities.
