Senior Product Manager - Supply
PRODUCT TEAM - B2B QUICK COMMERCE - 60-MINUTE MODEL
Location: South Delhi (Mohan Estate) | Overall Experience: 6 - 10 years | Product Management: 5 - 7 years
Company Description:
bijnis is a technology-driven B2B commerce platform transforming how manufacturers run, grow and scale their factories. With the vision to "Take Factories to the World," bijnis connects manufacturers and retailers across India while digitising critical business functions such as demand, supply, capital and operations.
We are building India's 60-minute factory-to-retailer supply chain, bringing together manufacturers, internal buying teams, traders and dark stores to make wholesale sourcing faster, simpler and more reliable for Bharat's retailers.
Our B2B quick-commerce model combines factory-direct sourcing, intelligent inventory placement, dark-store operations and technology to ensure retailers get the right products, at the right price, when they need them.
The Mandate:
60-minute delivery is not won in the last mile. It is won much earlier - when the right products are sourced, purchased, made available and positioned at the right dark stores.
Every product available to a retailer begins with a factory. Every buying decision determines what inventory enters our network. Every sourcing delay, incorrect stock commitment or inventory mismatch can affect availability, working capital and the customer experience.
At bijnis, we are building a supply ecosystem where thousands of factories, internal Buyers and Traders can operate as one connected, technology-enabled network.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Supply to answer one fundamental question: How do we make sourcing, buying and managing factory inventory so intelligent, efficient and dependable that bijnis can consistently deliver the right wholesale products to retailers in 60 minutes?
You will own the product experience for our factories and internal Buyers, while building the supply-side capabilities that enable Traders to source, manage and move inventory effectively.
This is not a role focused on managing procurement teams, negotiating with suppliers or running daily supply operations. It is a product leadership role focused on building the technology, workflows, intelligence and decision-making systems that make our supply ecosystem work at scale.
Role Structure:
This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role within the Product Team.
You will own the end-to-end product charter for Factories and internal Buyers, while developing the supply-side product capabilities used by Traders.
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Supply, Category, Demand Product, Dark Store Operations, Finance and Supply Chain teams.
Your responsibility is to translate complex, real-world supply challenges into scalable products that improve how inventory enters, moves through and becomes available across the bijnis network.
You will drive product outcomes through discovery, prioritisation, execution and adoption - not through operational reporting lines or ownership of a supply team.
Your Scoreboard:
Your success will be measured by the quality, adoption and business impact of the products you build. You will define the right product metrics, create visibility into supply performance and help teams understand where technology can meaningfully improve outcomes.
- Factory activation, engagement and product adoption
- Supplier catalogue completeness, accuracy and freshness
- Factory inventory visibility and stock accuracy
- Buyer productivity and procurement workflow efficiency
- Purchase-order processing and fulfilment efficiency
- Supplier order acceptance, fulfilment and reliability
- Procurement-to-dark-store inventory availability time
- Dark-store replenishment readiness and stock availability
- Reduction in manual sourcing, buying and inventory workflows
- Trader productivity and inventory movement efficiency
- Inventory ageing, stock health and working-capital efficiency
- Supply-side contribution to the 60-minute delivery promise
You will work with Supply, Demand and Dark Store teams to understand how product improvements translate into operational and commercial outcomes.
Three Charters. One Supply Engine:
Supply at bijnis is shaped by three deeply interconnected users: Factories, Buyers and Traders. Each user makes different decisions, operates with different information and faces different challenges. Your job is to build a connected product ecosystem that enables all three to work intelligently together.
Charter 1 - Factories & Suppliers:
Build the operating system for factories to do business with bijnis.
Factories are at the heart of bijnis. They manufacture the products that power our marketplace and quick-commerce network. Yet much of the traditional factory-to-market relationship still depends on phone calls, WhatsApp, manual stock updates, disconnected purchase orders and limited visibility into business performance.
Your goal is to make bijnis the easiest and most dependable technology-led channel for factories to grow their business.
You will own the factory product experience end to end, from onboarding and catalogue creation to inventory visibility, order management and ongoing supplier engagement.
You will:
1. Build intuitive onboarding and activation journeys for factories and suppliers.
2. Simplify catalogue creation, product listing, pricing and SKU management.
3. Enable factories to maintain accurate and updated inventory availability.
4. Build workflows for purchase orders, order acceptance, fulfilment and dispatch.
5. Improve visibility into pending orders, supply commitments and operational exceptions.
6. Help factories understand what products are selling, where demand exists and what inventory bijnis needs.
7. Build visibility into payments, returns, claims and supplier business performance.
8. Reduce dependence on manual communication between factories and internal teams.
9. Use AI and automation to simplify catalogue creation, inventory updates and repetitive supplier workflows.
The goal is not simply to build a supplier app. It is to make the factory an active, digitally connected participant in bijnis's supply network.
Charter 2 - Internal Buyers:
Build the buying operating system for B2B quick commerce.
Our internal Buyers are responsible for working with factories and sourcing the inventory that powers the bijnis business. Their decisions affect assortment, stock availability, purchase quantities, inventory ageing and dark-store readiness.
In a 60-minute quick-commerce model, Buyers need more than procurement tools. They need visibility, intelligence and execution capabilities that help them make the right buying decisions at the right time.
You will own the product ecosystem for internal Buyers, from understanding sourcing opportunities to managing purchase orders and tracking inventory availability.
You will:
1. Build a connected view of factories, catalogues, available inventory and sourcing opportunities.
2. Enable Buyers to discover and evaluate products across suppliers and categories.
3. Develop workflows for supplier selection, procurement planning and purchase-order creation.
4. Provide visibility into demand signals, dark-store inventory requirements and replenishment needs.
5. Help Buyers understand stock gaps, supplier availability and purchase priorities.
6. Simplify purchase-order tracking, supplier coordination and fulfilment follow-ups.
7. Build tools for inventory allocation and supply readiness across dark stores.
8. Enable exception management for shortages, delayed supply and mismatched inventory.
9. Improve coordination between Buyers, factories, warehouse teams and dark stores.
10. Use data and AI to surface buying recommendations, alerts and actionable insights.
The objective is not to automate buying decisions blindly or replace commercial judgement. It is to give Buyers the information, workflows and intelligence they need to operate more effectively at scale.
A great buying product should help one Buyer manage a substantially larger and more complex supplier and inventory ecosystem without a proportional increase in manual effort.
Charter 3 - Traders:
Build the supply-side product capabilities that make stock trading faster and more intelligent.
Traders play an important role in how inventory is sourced, positioned and moved within the bijnis ecosystem. They operate through our internal Trader App and need to make decisions that connect available factory stock, commercial opportunities, inventory positioning and retailer demand.
You will work closely with Traders to understand how they source inventory, evaluate stock opportunities, coordinate with Buyers and manage stock movement across the network.
You will own the supply-side product capabilities within the Trader ecosystem, in close collaboration with the Senior Product Manager - Demand.
You will:
1. Improve visibility into supplier inventory and available stock.
2. Help Traders identify sourcing and procurement opportunities.
3. Connect factory availability with internal buying and inventory requirements.
4. Build workflows for stock acquisition, allocation and movement.
5. Provide visibility into inventory across factories, warehouses and dark stores.
6. Reduce manual coordination between Traders, Buyers and supply teams.
7. Surface stock ageing, availability gaps and supply-side commercial opportunities.
8. Improve the speed and quality of Trader decisions through data, automation and AI.
The Trader App is a shared business-critical product surface. The Supply and Demand Product Managers will work together to create one connected experience.
The Supply charter will focus on sourcing, procurement, supplier inventory and supply-side stock movement, while the Demand charter will focus on retailer demand, merchandising, sell-through and demand-side commercial decisions.
The goal is one seamless Trader experience - not disconnected products built around organisational boundaries.
The Supply Chain Is the Product:
In B2B quick commerce, a retailer's 60-minute delivery experience depends on hundreds of decisions made before an order is placed. A product must be sourced from the right factory, purchased in the right quantity, made visible to the right teams and positioned at the right dark store. The entire system must work together.
FACTORY SUPPLY - BUYER PROCUREMENT - TRADER STOCK MOVEMENT - DARK-STORE AVAILABILITY - 60-MINUTE RETAILER DELIVERY
Your responsibility is to build the product systems that connect these decisions. You will work closely with the Demand Product Manager to translate retailer demand into better supply intelligence, and with Dark Store Operations to understand where sourcing and buying decisions affect inventory readiness.
The goal is not merely to procure more inventory. It is to help the business get the right inventory into the right location, at the right time, with the right economics.
What You'll Build:
You will lead product development across a combination of existing platforms, internal tools and new capabilities. These may include:
- Factory-facing products for catalogue, inventory, orders and business management.
- Internal Buyer platforms for sourcing, procurement and supplier coordination.
- Supply-side workflows within the internal Trader App.
- Unified visibility into supplier stock, procurement and inventory movement.
- Buying and replenishment decision-support systems.
- Integrations connecting factory supply, procurement, inventory and dark-store operations.
- AI-powered recommendations, alerts and workflow automation.
- Products that reduce operational complexity as the network grows across factories, categories and cities.
Some solutions will be new products built from zero to one. Others will involve improving established workflows and making existing systems significantly more effective.
You will be expected to identify when a problem needs technology and when it is better addressed through process, policy or operational change.
How You'll Work:
- Set a clear product direction for the factory, Buyer and supply-side Trader ecosystem.
- Own the product roadmap, discovery, prioritisation, execution and measurable outcomes across your charter.
- Spend meaningful time with factories, Buyers, Traders and dark-store teams to understand how work actually happens.
- Translate complex supply problems into simple, scalable product experiences.
- Partner with Engineering, Design and Data teams to build reliable, high-impact solutions.
- Work closely with the Demand Product Manager to connect supply decisions with retailer demand.
- Collaborate with Dark Store Operations to improve inventory visibility and replenishment readiness.
- Build strong product instrumentation and operating metrics across key supply workflows.
- Use AI and automation to improve productivity, decision quality and operational leverage.
- Drive adoption and measurable impact - not merely feature launches.
- Create alignment across stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
You May Be the Right Person If:
- You have 7 - 10 years of professional experience, including 5 - 7 years of hands-on product management.
- You have built products for B2B commerce, marketplaces, quick commerce, procurement, supply chain, inventory management or other operationally intensive businesses.
- You have experience building products for both external users and internal business teams.
- You understand how real-world operational workflows translate into scalable software.
- You can think across supplier experience, procurement, inventory, fulfilment and unit economics.
- You are comfortable owning a complex product charter independently.
- You have worked on products where data accuracy, real-time visibility and workflow reliability are critical.
- You know how to balance business requirements, user needs and engineering complexity.
- You enjoy working directly with users, including people who may not be digitally sophisticated.
- You can build new products from scratch while improving existing systems.
- You use data, experimentation and AI to improve product and business outcomes.
- You are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Experience with supplier platforms, procurement systems, enterprise workflows, warehouse management, inventory intelligence or B2B commerce will be particularly relevant.
This Role May Not Be for You If:
- You are looking to lead procurement, supplier negotiations or daily supply operations rather than build products.
- You prefer consumer-facing features and are not interested in complex internal or operational workflows.
- You define product success by feature delivery instead of user adoption and business impact.
- You rely entirely on dashboards and rarely spend time with factories or operating teams.
- You are uncomfortable working with imperfect data, legacy processes and real-world operational constraints.
- You believe every supply problem can be solved by adding another dashboard.
- You prefer narrowly defined requirements over discovering and shaping complex problems.
- You are uncomfortable building products used by multiple interconnected stakeholders.
- You measure seniority primarily through team size rather than the complexity and impact of the products you own.
What Success Could Look Like:
In your first year:
- bijnis has a clear supply-product strategy connecting factories, Buyers and Traders.
- Factory-facing products are simpler, more useful and adopted more consistently.
- Factories can manage catalogues, inventory and orders with significantly less manual coordination.
- Buyers have a connected operating system for sourcing, procurement and supply visibility.
- Internal buying workflows become faster, more transparent and less dependent on spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
- Traders have stronger supply-side visibility and tools for managing inventory opportunities.
- Dark Store and Supply teams have a more reliable view of incoming and available inventory.
- Supply and Demand Product teams work from connected data and shared inventory intelligence.
- AI and automation meaningfully improve user productivity and decision quality.
- The supply-product ecosystem contributes to better inventory availability, healthier stock and stronger operational efficiency.
Most importantly, bijnis has built a supply-product foundation capable of supporting a growing B2B quick-commerce network without operational complexity growing at the same pace.
Why bijnis?:
- Building quick commerce for Bharat's retailers is fundamentally different from building another consumer delivery app. Factories operate with different levels of digitisation. Wholesale buying requires deep commercial judgement. Inventory must be sourced and positioned before demand arrives. Dark-store availability must reflect highly local and constantly changing retailer needs.
- Solving this requires product thinking that goes beyond screens, funnels and transactions. At bijnis, you will have the opportunity to build products used by factories and internal commercial teams, while influencing the supply infrastructure behind a 60-minute B2B commerce experience.
- You will work at the intersection of manufacturing, commerce, procurement, inventory, AI and physical supply chains.
- If you want to build the product operating system that connects India's factories to Bharat's retailers in 60 minutes, this is that role.
