Footwear Sourcing Lead

Location: South Delhi (Mohan Estate)

About bijnis:

bijnis is building India's 60 minute factory to retailer network, enabling thousands of retailers across Bharat to source products directly from manufacturers with speed, transparency and reliability.

As we continue to scale rapidly, we are looking for a Footwear Sourcing Lead who can take complete ownership of building and scaling our footwear category across Men's, Women's and Kids segments.

This role is for someone who understands footwear deeply, thinks like a business owner and can drive growth through strong sourcing, inventory planning and supplier partnerships.

What You Will Own:

- Own footwear category P&L and drive profitable growth

- Build sourcing strategy aligned with retailer demand and market opportunities

- Plan category depth, inventory mix and availability across footwear segments

- Develop and manage strong supplier partnerships across key footwear clusters

- Drive negotiations on pricing, quality, margins and supply commitments

- Work closely with demand, supply and operations teams to ensure seamless execution

- Identify opportunities to improve assortment, reduce dead stock and increase category performance

- Spend time on ground with factories, suppliers and internal teams to build a scalable supply network

What We Are Looking For:

- 6 - 10 years of experience in footwear sourcing, buying or category management

- Strong understanding of footwear categories, materials, costing and manufacturing ecosystem

- Experience managing supplier relationships across multiple footwear clusters

- Strong commercial understanding with ability to manage P&L and inventory decisions

- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast growing environment

- Willingness to travel and work closely with teams on ground
