Clothing Sourcing Lead

About bijnis:

bijnis is building India's 60-minute factory to retailer network, enabling thousands of retailers across Bharat to source products directly from manufacturers with speed, transparency and reliability.

As we continue to scale rapidly, we are looking for a Clothing Sourcing Lead who can take complete ownership of building and scaling our apparel category, with a strong focus on Men's Wear.

This role is for someone who understands the apparel ecosystem deeply, thinks like a business owner and can drive growth through strong sourcing, inventory planning, supplier partnerships and category expansion.

What You Will Own:

- Own the Men's Wear category P&L and drive profitable growth

- Build sourcing strategy aligned with retailer demand and market opportunities

- Plan inventory, category depth and assortment across Men's Wear segments

- Develop and manage strong supplier relationships across key apparel clusters

- Drive negotiations on pricing, quality, margins and supply commitments

- Identify opportunities to improve assortment, reduce dead stock and increase category performance

- Work closely with demand, supply and operations teams for smooth execution

- Spend time on ground with manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams to build a scalable supply network

What We Are Looking For:

- 6 - 10 years of experience in apparel sourcing, buying or category management

- Strong understanding of Men's Wear categories, fabrics, manufacturing processes and costing

- Experience managing supplier relationships across multiple apparel clusters

- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to manage P&L and inventory decisions

- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to take ownership and build a category in a fast growing environment

- Willingness to travel and work closely with teams on ground
