BIG Language Solutions - Senior Data Analyst

Role Summary:

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst with deep expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, Azure SQL, ETL development, Python, and Business Intelligence. The role involves building enterprise reporting solutions, optimizing databases, developing scalable ETL pipelines, automating reporting, and delivering executive dashboards that enable data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects.

- Develop enterprise-grade SSIS packages, ETL pipelines, incremental loads, and automated workflows.

- Build interactive Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Row-Level Security.

- Develop data warehouse solutions including fact/dimension models and reporting marts.

- Automate reporting using SQL, Python, SSIS, and AI-enabled solutions.

- Analyze large datasets, identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.

- Mentor junior analysts and establish BI best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

- SQL Server: Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, CTEs, Window Functions, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, Indexing, Execution Plans.

- SSIS: ETL Development, Data Flow, Control Flow, Incremental Loads, Scheduling, Logging, Error Handling, Package Deployment, Performance Optimization.

- Power BI: Advanced DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Power BI Service, Gateway, Dashboard Optimization, Incremental Refresh, RLS.

- Programming: Python (Pandas, NumPy), Automation Scripting.

- Database: SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (preferred).

- Excel: Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, VBA (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, Power Automate, Data Governance, Machine Learning fundamentals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field with 5-8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.

Preferred Candidate:

- Strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management, experience with enterprise-scale data, passion for automation, and ability to independently deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
