Role Overview:
Lead the end-to-end bid management process for Data Center projects, including technical and commercial proposal preparation, cost estimation, solution coordination, risk assessment, and customer engagement. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Project teams to deliver competitive and compliant bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete bid lifecycle including RFP/RFQ/Tender evaluation and proposal submission.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Data Center projects.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams for solution development.
- Perform cost estimation, pricing analysis, and commercial evaluations.
- Understand Data Center infrastructure including UPS, Cooling (HVAC), Power Distribution, and Monitoring solutions.
- Conduct risk analysis and ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Present bid solutions and provide technical/commercial clarifications to customers.
- Maintain bid documentation, reports, and bid performance metrics.
- Experience in modular/data center infrastructure projects is preferred.
Requirements:
- Individual Contributor (IC) role with extensive cross-functional stakeholder management.
- End-to-end ownership of the bid lifecycle, from RFP/RFQ analysis to final proposal submission.
- Strong exposure to technical and commercial bid preparation is essential.
- Experience in Data Center infrastructure, including UPS, cooling (HVAC), power distribution, and monitoring solutions, is preferred.
- Candidate should have strong cost estimation, commercial evaluation, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Excellent proposal writing, client presentation, and communication skills are critical.
- Exposure to modular data center solutions and large infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management/estimation tools is preferred.
- Customer-facing role requiring close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
