
Role Overview :
Location : Seawoods
Key Responsibilities :
- Track and evaluate opportunities on portals such as Government e-Marketplace and Central Public Procurement Portal
- Review RFP/RFQ/EOI documents for scope, eligibility, and risk assessment
- Drive go/no-go decisions in collaboration with sales leadership
- Own end-to-end bid lifecycle: planning, coordination, submission, and follow-ups
- Prepare detailed compliance matrices (technical & commercial)
- Ensure strict adherence to eligibility criteria, documentation formats, and timelines
- Coordinate with internal teams:
- Delivery / technical teams (for solution inputs)
- HR (for staffing-based bids)
- Finance (pricing, EMD, PBG, commercials)
- Legal (contracts, deviations)
- Compile technical proposals (approach, methodology, project understanding)
- Prepare commercial bid documentation and support pricing strategy
- Manage pre-bid queries, corrigenda, and clarifications
- Handle e-tendering submissions, bid openings, and reverse auctions
- Maintain repository of past bids, credentials, and reusable content
- Support post-bid presentations, negotiations, and contract finalization
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 - 12 years of experience in bid management for government / PSU tenders
- Hands-on experience with GeM, CPPP, and state e-procurement portals
- Experience in IT services domains such as:
1. Application Development & Maintenance (ADM)
2. IT Staffing / Resource Augmentation
3. AMC / FMS / Managed Services
4. System Integration projects
- Strong documentation and proposal writing skills
- High attention to detail and compliance orientation
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience handling large SI or multi-year government contracts
- Familiarity with contract terms (SLA, penalties, LD clauses, PBG, EMD, etc.)
- Exposure to QCBS and cost-based bidding models
- Ability to interpret eligibility criteria and mitigate disqualification risks
