BHM Traders is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and manage our finance operations in the Maldives. This role is ideal for a finance professional holding a CFA (or higher relevant qualification) or CA, with strong leadership abilities, analytical thinking, and strategic financial expertise. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

- Manage the complete accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and cash flow.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Compliance & Controls:

- Oversee internal financial controls and audit coordination.

- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.

- Develop, implement, and improve financial systems, policies, and SOPs.

Leadership & Coordination:

- Lead and mentor the accounts team with clear financial guidance.

- Coordinate with cross-functional departments, senior management, and external auditors.

- Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions.

Strategic Contribution:

- Monitor business performance using KPIs and financial analysis.

- Support company growth through cost optimization and financial planning.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and manage financial risks.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

- CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or Masters degree in Finance / Accounting, Full Time, Distance not acceptable. Additional certifications in financial analysis or management will be an advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance (preferably in a managerial role).

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, auditing principles, and financial reporting.

- Experience in FMCG, retail, trading, or distribution industries is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems, or Dynamics 365.

- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
