
Position: Scheme Consultant
Experience: 6+ Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Scheme Consultant with over 6 years of experience in project management, rural development, or program administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with large-scale government-led skill and livelihood programs at the state and national levels. This role requires a professional who is not only adept at project execution and monitoring but also has a deep understanding of rural communities and the ability to mobilize grassroots efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution and Coordination:
- Oversee key program activities, including scheme sanctions, IPA sanctions, and T.P. monitoring.
- Ensure effective coordination among various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of schemes.
- Take charge of project monitoring and inspection to ensure compliance and quality.
Reporting and Administration:
- Utilize and manage the ISMS (Information Security Management System) for reporting and data management.
- Prepare and present reports, and maintain command over MIS/reports and MS-Office tools.
- Carry out any other administrative and reporting duties as assigned by the Managing Director (MD) of RSLDC.
Community Engagement:
- Work closely with rural poor communities to implement livelihood and poverty reduction programs at scale.
- Mobilize and engage youth for participation in skill development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- MBA or PGDM in Social Work/MSW or PG Diploma in Rural Development.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4.5-6 years of experience in project management or rural development, specifically with large-scale state and national-level skill programs.
- A proven track record of working with similar government programs.
- Hands-on experience in implementing livelihood and poverty reduction programs at scale.
Professional Attributes:
- Strong communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with a solid command of MIS/reports and MS-Office.
- The ability to effectively mobilize youth and engage with communities.
