Bharat Supply - Senior Manager - Line Haul-Fleet Operations

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager - Line Haul Operations will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing the long-haul transportation network across regions to ensure cost efficiency, service reliability, and operational excellence. The role involves managing fleet operations, vendor performance, route optimization, and on-time line haul movements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end management of line haul operations across multiple zones.

- Plan and monitor intercity movements to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.

- Optimize route planning, network design, and vehicle utilization.

- Manage and evaluate third-party logistics (3PL) partners and transport vendors.

- Track daily performance metrics (TAT, cost per km, vehicle fill rate, etc.).

- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

- Collaborate with hubs, sort centers, and first/last mile teams for smooth coordination.

- Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives in the line haul function.

- Lead and develop a team of managers and executives to achieve business KPIs.

- Analyze data and prepare periodic reports for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).

- 10-15 years of experience in logistics or transportation management.

- Proven experience managing large-scale line haul operations in e-commerce, FMCG, or logistics sectors
