Bharat Seats - Plant Finance Manager

Role Overview:

The Plant Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial and commercial activities at the manufacturing unit in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, ensuring cost control, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the plant finance function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.

- Monitor and control plant operating costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive efficiency.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of accounts in coordination with corporate finance.

- Manage inventory valuation, production costing, and BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Excise, etc.) and internal policies.

- Act as a business partner to the Plant Head and operations team for financial decision-making.

- Monitor capital expenditures (CAPEX) and ensure ROI-based evaluation and control.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and support audit processes (internal/statutory).

- Support implementation of ERP systems and digital initiatives at the plant level.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams - production, SCM, procurement, HR - to align financial objectives with operational goals.

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, standard costing, and financial reporting

- Deep understanding of plant operations and financial impact drivers

- Proficiency in SAP ERP(FICO) systems

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate/Post Graduate(CA/B. Com/MBA)

Experience: 10+ years in a manufacturing setup

Experience in the Automobile is an added advantage
