Role Overview:

The Production Head will spearhead the end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are met with uncompromising quality standards. This role involves orchestrating cross-functional workflows between procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams to streamline output and optimize resource utilization. By driving process improvements and maintaining a high-performance shop floor environment, the incumbent will directly influence the companys ability to scale production capacity while maintaining the cost-efficiency and reliability expected of premium smart home hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct all manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to stringent quality and safety benchmarks.

- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance overall process efficiency across the production line.

- Manage the end-to-end supply chain and inventory flow to prevent bottlenecks and ensure continuous production cycles.

- Oversee the implementation of robust Industrial Safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace and ensure full regulatory compliance.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and yield optimization.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production supervisors and technicians to foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, with a proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable production plans.

- Strong proficiency in Process Excellence and Lean methodologies, with a track record of successfully optimizing complex manufacturing workflows.

- Exceptional leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage high-performing technical teams.

- Deep understanding of Quality Operations and Industrial Safety standards, ensuring that all outputs meet both internal benchmarks and external regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure environments and make data-driven decisions.

- A degree in Engineering or a related field, complemented by 8 - 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership roles.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Bangalore, maintaining a hands-on approach to shop floor management and team engagement.
