Role Overview:
As a Corporate FP&A Specialist, you will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, translating complex financial data into actionable business insights. You will be responsible for driving the annual budgeting process, conducting rigorous variance analysis, and building robust financial models that guide capital allocation and growth strategies. Working closely with cross-functional department heads, you will ensure financial discipline across the organization, directly influencing the companys profitability and long-term fiscal health in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles to ensure alignment with the companys strategic growth objectives.
- Perform deep-dive variance analysis to identify performance gaps and provide recommendations for operational improvements to senior management.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, product lines, and potential investment scenarios.
- Manage P&L reporting and analysis to track departmental performance and ensure adherence to cost-optimization targets.
- Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance, helping them navigate resource allocation and operational decision-making.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends in revenue and expenditure, providing the leadership team with a clear view of the companys financial trajectory.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a corporate finance environment, supported by 6-15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in building complex financial models and conducting advanced data analytics to support high-stakes decision-making.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into concise, executive-level reports that clearly communicate financial performance and business risks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- A solid understanding of P&L management and business finance principles, with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
- Professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA is preferred, reflecting a strong academic foundation in financial management.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
