Job Title: Assistant Manager Regional Sales Manager West


Location: Pune


Preferred Qualification: BE / MBA in Sales & Marketing


Experience: 10-12 years (Auto-component industry)


Additional Requirement: Experience in handling direct Auto OEM customers


Role Overview:


The Assistant Manager Regional Sales Manager (West) will drive regional sales performance, manage key OEM accounts, develop new business opportunities, and oversee forecasting, planning, and customer relationship management. The role ensures revenue growth, market penetration, and strong customer engagement across the western region.


Key Responsibilities (JD):


- Drive regional sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.


- Lead regional sales planning, monitoring, and performance evaluation.


- Prepare and implement the annual business plan for the region, including goal setting and structured reviews.


- Manage and oversee all regional sales operations with full accountability.


- Lead New Product Development (NPD) business opportunities with A-category OEM customers.


- Generate orders to ensure optimal mould and machine capacity utilization.


- Manage regular sales cycles including ISOBN and basket pricing negotiations with key customers.


- Collect and update complete KYC documentation for all customers.


- Gather market data on local and imported connector potential and customer purchase volumes.


- Conduct frequent customer visits to strengthen relationships and enhance business engagement.


- Perform competitor analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and market trends within the region.


- Generate new accounts and expand customer base across the western region.


- Ensure timely collection of payments and monitor outstanding dues.


Key Result Areas (KRAs):


- Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the western region.


- Growth in business share with key A-category OEM customers.


- Successful execution of NPD opportunities and new order generation.


- Improvement in market penetration and new account acquisition.


- Timely collection of payments and reduction of outstanding receivables.


- Accurate and timely submission of sales forecasts, reports, and market insights.


- Strengthened customer relationships leading to long-term retention.


- Competitive intelligence that supports strategic decision-making.

- Excellent presentation skills for internal reviews and client meetings.


- Strong negotiation abilities for pricing, contracts, and order finalization.
