Position: Vice President/Assistant Vice President/General Manager - Cement Industry Product & Techno-Commercial Leader

Position Requirements:

The Domain Expert and Program Management Techno-Commercial Leader in the Cement Domain will bring strong expertise in Cement manufacturing processes like pyro and grinding process. The applicant must have a Chemical/Mechanical Engineering background and should have worked in the Cement industry for a minimum of 15 years in various roles including production, technical support, maintenance, and projects. The applicant should be well conversant with control logics of the process and must have worked in process/efficiency improvement projects. Ability to deal with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialists is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide deep domain expertise across Cement manufacturing processes, including raw mill, coal mill, pyro-processing, kiln, clinker and cement grinding.

- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, production optimization, process stability, cost reduction and sustainability improvement across Cement plants.

- Translate customer and plant-level challenges into AI, Digital Twin, Industrial IoT and optimization-based solutions in collaboration with Product, Engineering and Data Science teams.

- Lead solution conceptualization, product requirements, technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, business cases and techno-commercial propositions.

- Lead and engage with Client Leadership including Plant Heads, Technical Heads, CXOs to identify opportunities, build relationships and drive solution adoption.

- Lead and provide strategic oversight to Program/Project Managers and cross-functional teams responsible for solution deployment, commissioning, stabilization and customer success.

- Own critical client escalations and ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality and commercial objectives.

- Develop and communicate ROI and business-value cases and ensure measurable outcomes from Bert Labs' solutions.

- Build relationships with Cement manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, technology partners and other strategic stakeholders.

- Contribute to the Cement product roadmap, go-to-market strategy and growth of the Cement business vertical.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage.

- 15+ years of experience in the Cement industry, preferably across production, process engineering, technical services, projects, automation, maintenance or operational excellence.

- Strong understanding of Cement process control, DCS/PLC/SCADA, control logics and process optimization.

- Demonstrated experience in energy efficiency, productivity improvement, cost reduction or process improvement projects.

- Experience in client-facing techno-commercial roles, consulting, solutioning, product management or industrial technology deployment is preferred.

- Exposure to AI/ML, Industrial IoT, Advanced Process Control, analytics or Digital Twin technologies will be an advantage.

- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management and business-development skills.
