Bentchair - Senior Manager - Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Leadership:

- Identify and target new business opportunities, particularly within the home décor, furniture, and lifestyle industry sectors.

- Build and nurture relationships with builders, purchase managers, and key stakeholders to drive business growth.

- Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

- Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

- Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals, align strategies, and ensure the successful achievement of growth objectives.

- Take ownership of client retention and satisfaction through effective account management and relationship-building.

Client Relationship & Partnership Management:

- Foster long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.

- Identify new strategic partnerships that can amplify Bent Chairs market presence and drive growth.

- Effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial deals and agreements.

- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to develop customer-centric solutions and promotions.

Market Research & Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

- Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and leverage data-driven insights to improve sales strategies.

- Stay up-to-date with trends in the home décor and lifestyle industry to inform business development efforts and maintain a competitive edge.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, design) to align sales strategies and customer offerings.

- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.

- Mentor, train, and support junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, and relationship management, with a strong focus on B2B sales in a relevant industry.

- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, sales cycle management, and achieving sales targets.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with high-level stakeholders and clients.

- Strategic thinking and proven experience in strategic planning and partnerships.

- Knowledge of home décor, furniture, and lifestyle industry trends and the ability to leverage market insights for business growth.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects and priorities.

- A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with builders and purchase managers in the home décor or lifestyle sectors.

- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software to streamline workflows and client communication.

- Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing or mentoring sales teams.

- Experience in key account management and high-level negotiations.
