Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid role, where the successful candidate will be required to work both remotely and on-site at our office in Cincinnati as needed. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial aspects of our organization, partnering with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with our strategic objectives. With exceptional analytical skills and in-depth understanding of financial planning and reporting, you will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and supporting the company's growth and profitability.

Areas Of Responsibility:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

- Develop and oversee the company's annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with the organization's strategic objectives.

- Analyze historical data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Implement and maintain robust financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting system to track and analyze key performance indicators.

- Prepare and present insightful financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive management and other stakeholders.

- Identify and address any variances between actual and planned performance, proposing corrective actions as needed.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Financial Analysis:

- Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to support the organization's growth and profitability.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of business initiatives, investments, and acquisitions to assess their financial viability and impact.

- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop long-term financial plans and strategies.

- Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and revenue enhancement.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

- Manage and develop a team of financial analysts and specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's continuous growth and success.

- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the organization, offering financial expertise and guidance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment across the organization.

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA) is preferred.

- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), are highly desirable.

Experience And Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective financial planning and reporting processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of financial software, including experience with tools like Netsuite or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders.

- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of financial professionals.

- Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
