Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bench Sales Manager to lead our bench sales team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of placing IT consultants with direct clients, prime vendors, and implementation partners. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, along with a deep understanding of the US IT staffing market and immigration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the Bench:

- Maintain a clear understanding of all consultants skills, experience, and availability.

- Conduct regular meetings with consultants to align on their goals, technical expertise, and preferences.

- Ensure all consultant profiles are accurate and up to date.

Resume Optimization:

- Train and guide consultants on effective resume formatting.

- Tailor resumes and cover letters to specific client requirements.

- Ensure resumes are keyword-rich and aligned with current industry standards.

Market Research:

- Analyze market trends, client demands, and emerging technologies.

- Identify target clients, industries, and geographies for business expansion.

- Develop effective sales strategies to capture new opportunities.

Client & Vendor Relationships:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with direct clients, prime vendors, and implementation partners.

- Market bench consultants proactively to key decision-makers.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts, rates, and terms of engagement.

Job Boards & Social Media:

- Strategically use portals like Dice, Monster, and LinkedIn to source new requirements.

- Oversee and guide the teams outreach and submissions.

- Leverage networking to build a pipeline of leads and opportunities.

Freshers Training & Mentorship:

- Train and mentor junior bench sales recruiters on submissions, follow-ups, and communication.

- Coach the team on sales pitches, negotiation skills, and professional etiquette.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

- Define KPIs and track submission rates, interview-to-placement ratios, and revenue targets.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for leadership.

- Use CRM and tracking tools to maintain accurate records.

US Immigration & Tax Knowledge:

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of US work visas (H1B, L1, EAD, Green Card) and compliance requirements.

- Understand tax terms such as W2, 1099, and C2C to guide negotiations.

- Stay updated on immigration policies affecting the staffing industry.

- Advise consultants and the team on visa and documentation processes.

Requirements:

- Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in US IT Bench Sales

- Strong track record in placing consultants with direct clients and vendors

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

- Good understanding of US visa classifications and tax terms

- Experience mentoring or managing a team is preferred
