PROCUREMENT MANAGER Location : Gurgoan Reports to : Sr VP Operations ROLE : - Manage and oversee India operations, including supply chain management, cost control, and vendor consolidation - Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to outsource formulation as per business requirements within the specified timeframe and budget. - Identify and commercialize contract manufacturers for successful product launches. - Initiate direct supplies of raw materials and packaging materials, bypassing traders, to improve cost efficiency. - Negotiate credit terms with suppliers and work towards cost improvement through alternate sourcing. - Drive conversion cost improvement initiatives - Ensure timely and reliable supplies of raw materials and packaging materials to contract manufacturers. - Source and supply raw materials and packaging materials from India for local production in the Business Development (BD) division - Coordinate timely trials and ensure successful first-time production by ensuring timely supply of raw materials and packaging materials. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - 8+ years of experience in operations management or supply chain management. - Strong understanding of supply chain processes, vendor management, and cost control. Experience in outsourcing formulation and commercializing contract manufacturers. - Knowledge of raw material and packaging material sourcing and supplier relationship management. - Proven track record of driving cost improvement initiatives and ensuring timely supplies. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across cross-functional teams. - Problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on results.
