Description:


Role Purpose:


The Associate Director of Learning, Development & Training will design and lead the companys capability-building agenda across all levels and functions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to shape a culture of continuous learning, enable leadership growth, and ensure employees are equipped with the skills required for current and future business needs.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategy and Vision


- Develop and implement a holistic learning and development strategy aligned with business priorities.


- Build a structured roadmap for technical, functional, and behavioral capabilities.


- Establish measurable success metrics to assess learning effectiveness and impact on performance.


2. Leadership and Talent Development


- Design and execute leadership programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.


- Partner with senior leadership to identify critical skill gaps and design targeted interventions.


3. Training Design and Delivery


- Oversee all training initiatives including onboarding, functional, compliance, and behavioral programs.


- Manage a central training team and coordinate with external partners to ensure high-quality delivery.


- Create scalable, blended learning experiences that combine digital and in-person methods.


- Continuously improve learning outcomes through assessments, feedback, and data-driven insights.


4. Learning Technology and Content


- Lead the development and enhancement of digital learning platforms.


- Curate engaging, accessible learning content tailored to diverse learner needs.


- Leverage analytics and automation to personalize learning paths and track progress.


5. Governance and Partnerships


- Establish clear policies, standards, and governance for all learning programs.


- Manage external learning partners, institutions, and certification bodies.


- Oversee learning budgets and ensure efficient, ROI-driven investments.


Qualifications & Experience


- 8-10 years of progressive experience in managing Learning & Development in similar organisations.


- Proven track record of building and leading enterprise-wide learning programs in a fast-scaling organization.


- Expertise in instructional design, leadership development, and digital learning systems.


- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.


- Experience managing teams and external vendors.
