Role Overview:
The AGM/GM - Strategy & Operations will drive end-to-end business performance across the BaaS network,with ownership of demand growth, network utilization, and operational efficiency.
This is a team handling and cross-functional leadership role, requiring a strong blend of strategy, execution, and people leadership to scale a distributed, partner-led ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own network performance across regions, driving improvements in utilization, demand
throughput, and revenue growth.
- Lead and manage a team of strategy, operations, and field leaders, ensuring strong execution rigor and goal alignment.
- Design and execute growth strategies to expand demand, improve customer adoption, and strengthen channel performance.
- Drive city-level and cluster-level planning, including pricing, demand shaping, and performance optimization.
- Partner with Supply Chain and City Operations teams to ensure effective supply-demand alignment and minimal service gaps.
- Establish and monitor business KPIs such as utilization, retention, partner productivity, and unit economics.
- Build and institutionalize performance management frameworks for field teams and channel networks.
- Lead hiring, capability building, and retention for high-performing teams across regions.
- Work closely with Product and Tech teams to improve user experience, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
- Drive data-driven decision-making, including reviews, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
- Strengthening the partner ecosystem, ensuring high engagement, productivity, and long-term sustainability of partners.
Team Leadership Scope:
- Manage a team of Strategy & Ops managers, Demand Managers, and field execution teams
- Driving a culture of ownership, performance, and accountability
- Ensure alignment between central strategy and on-ground execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-9 years of experience in strategy, operations, business growth, or general management roles
- Proven experience in team handling and leading cross-functional initiatives
- Strong exposure to high-growth, execution-driven environments (EV, mobility, logistics, infra, or startups preferred)
- Deep understanding of on-ground operations and multi-city execution models
- Strong capabilities in problem-solving, program management, and stakeholder management
- Experience in managing P&L metrics, business performance, and operational KPIs
- High ownership mindset with ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
