Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Negotiations & Vendor Management:
- Negotiate deals with publishers, affiliate partners, OTT, programmatic, and third-party vendors
- Secure better rates, bonus inventory, credit lines, and commercial incentives
- Manage annual/quarterly negotiations for volume discounts & rate cards
- Collaborate with media teams on commercial viability for new partners
Agency Revenue & Margin Optimization:
- Identify margin expansion opportunities
- Ensure accurate application of markups, client commissions, and incentives
- Drive strategies to improve agency profitability on spends
Billing & Operations:
- Oversee PO/IO creation, verification, and tracking
- Co-ordinate with Accounts to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing
- Validate vendor invoices with campaign data (Meta/Google dashboards)
- Ensure smooth month-end closures and documentation
Reconciliation & Audit:
- Match platform spends vs vendor invoices
- Identify discrepancies and resolve with vendors
- Maintain detailed recon sheets for large-scale budgets
- Work closely with Finance on audits
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with Media Ops, SEO, Paid Media, Programmatic & Finance
- Ensure zero leakages in budgets and commercial processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-6 years in digital media agency commercials/operations
- Strong exposure to publisher/affiliate/vendor commercial negotiations
- Hands-on experience with media billing, POs, IOs, recon & budget tracking
- Deep understanding of agency earning models (commission, markup, hybrid)
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, large data recon sheets)
