Business Development Manager Barco Control Rooms
Description
The mission of the Business Development Manager Barco Control Rooms(BCR) is to generate maximum business opportunities & Revenue for BCR in Govt Projects in North.
He should market the company ensuring that the organization receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image.
Main Accountabilities:
- Deliver the BCR revenue goals established each quarter in line with the business plan by selling goods and services to customers.
- Work closely with End customers to identify and develop opportunities.
- Develop the market, by identifying key programs / projects and Participate/Contribute to professional association within his market and work closely with Consultants operating in the ecosystem.
- Synchronize, Explore and assess additional channels in order to maximize revenue in consideration of the Barco channel strategy.
- Analyze the customer needs, and provide the appropriate value proposition in return.
- Provide quotations in line with applicable pricing and other related commercial terms.
- Provide and achieve meaningful sales forecasts on a monthly basis keeping up-to-date records in the companys CRM system.
- Hands on Demonstrations & Presentations of Barcos Product offerings on site and at Main Demonstration Center.
- Develop strong collaboration with the other BCR team members for better management of Large programs/Opportunities.
- Market the company, ensuring that the organization receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors/masters Degree (business, marketing or engineering) or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Networking is essential.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Selling / Business Development / Key Account Management experience in Govt. Projects.
Competencies And Requirements:
- A highly driven individual, possessing initiative and a willingness to go that extra mile to close the deal.
- Can recognize the importance and value of Key accounts management and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Is a proficient and creative, high level sales negotiator with outstanding relationship building abilities.
- Able to articulate the benefits of the products to his customers and is fully conversant with professional sales techniques and forecasting.
- Direct experience in handling Govt/PSU business through Tenders.
- Knowledge of the following markets and associated ecosystem is very welcome.
- Audiovisual (system integrators, consultants).
- Utilities, Traffic & Surveillance, Telecom (Minimum Two markets).
- A strong and assured communicator and presenter, who is able to gain personal credibility with client managers.
- Is able to work in a diplomatic and professional manner in order to achieve client trust and confidence.
- Excellent English & Hindi language skills, other languages are an asset.
- Computer proficiency including the Microsoft Office package and will be able to use SAP CRM after an initial training programme.
- Affinity with technical products and technical understanding.
- Good knowledge of Networking is essential.
