About the Role:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and expanding market share within the assigned territory. The role involves sales planning, team management, performance tracking, and execution of marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Develop and execute area-specific sales plans to achieve targets and revenue growth.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key customers.

- Identify new business opportunities and expand the sales pipeline within the assigned region.

- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

- Guide, train, and motivate the field sales team to achieve individual and team goals.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.

- Ensure effective distribution and availability of products across the assigned territory.

- Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for strategic planning.

- Implement and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) best practices.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and trade terms.

Required Skillsets:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical or product-based industries.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable business strategies.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for reporting and pipeline management.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
