About the role:

- This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru (Manyata Tech Park) for a Transformation Lead at the Engineering Design Centre (GCC).

- The Transformation Lead will focus on driving strategic transformation initiatives, optimizing engineering and operational processes, and ensuring efficient delivery within the design center.

- Day-to-day responsibilities include analysing current workflows, developing and implementing solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging best practices to achieve continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- The role also involves monitoring project performance and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

- Lead the India workstream of Balfour Beattys EDC & Production transformation, delivering measurable margin and productivity uplift by scaling the Engineering Design and by accelerating wider Production Thinking.

- The Transformation Lead will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of these initiatives.

The Lead will be responsible for driving the following quantifiable performance outcomes:

- Achieve a 30% improvement in productivity with a focus on safe, predictable production.

- Enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

- Improve resource allocation and investment returns.

- Strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty through targeted strategies.

Required Experience:

- Senior transformation/programme leadership in complex Infrastructure or Engineering businesses.

- Deep working knowledge of NEC (Options A/B/C/D/E) and recoverability evidence.

- Demonstrable success running off/near shore operating models or shared services at scale.

- (Engineering Design related to EPC / Infrastructure Projects)

- Financial acumen: budgeting/benefits tracking and transfer pricing in services

Desired Qualifications:

- Expertise in process optimization, change management, and transformational leadership

- Experience in Engineering design processes and operational workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in data-driven decision making

- Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

- Knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies for managing complex engineering and transformation projects

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in the infrastructure or construction industry is a strong advantage

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering , Business Administration, or a related field.
