Baldota Group - Analyst - Investment - Venture Capital Fund

Roles & Responsibilities

a. Investments

- Support the investment team in evaluating potential new investments across diverse sectors such as AI, Big Data, ML, Med-tech, Biotech, and High-tech.

- Assist in preparing initial research notes, data analysis, and sector overviews to aid investment decisions.

- Assist in compiling investment memos and presentation materials for internal discussions.

- Work closely with senior team members during investment due diligence and documentation process. b. Portfolio Management

- Support portfolio companies in preparing fundraising materials, business plans, and investor presentations.

- Help maintain internal databases of active investments and fund performance.

c. Market Research & Networking

- Conduct independent research on market trends, industry landscapes, and emerging technologies.

- Track financial statements, earnings reports, and investment news flow relevant to focus geographies (India, US, Israel, etc.).

d. Additional Exposure

- Learn deal process flow end-to-end, including investment evaluation, negotiation basics, legal processes, and fund operations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (finance, tax, legal teams) under supervision.

- Participate actively in team discussions, brainstorming, and new idea generation.

Desired Skills & Attributes

- Educational Background: Strong academic track record in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related fields (CMA / CFA Level candidates, BBA/Commerce/Engineering graduates with finance inclination preferred).

- Experience: 0-1 Years.

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis basics. Exposure to financial modeling will be an added advantage.

- Curiosity about startups, technology, and investing.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to work in detail-oriented tasks with a learning mindset.

- Self-driven, eager to acquire new skills, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
