Role Title:
Business Associate to the Promoters (Founder's Office / Chief of Staff)
Reporting to: Promoters, Bakshi Group
Location: Group HQ with exposure across business locations
Role Summary:
- The Business Associate to the Promoters is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the center of the Bakshi Group's leadership and execution engine. The role functions as a strategic and operational extension of the promoters, supporting decision-making, execution tracking, business development, and governance across multiple group businesses.
This position combines strategy execution, reporting and analysis, product and technology implementation support, sales and marketing enablement, customer and partner coordination, and operational setup across the Group's verticals:
GFR (Logistics), Vidhilekh (Digital & Business Transformation GCC), Lightspeed (Trading), and Beejpoorti (AgriTech).
The role is designed for a high-potential individual with strong ownership, analytical depth, and execution capability, seeking long-term leadership exposure in a multi-business group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promoter & Leadership Support:
- Act as a strategic and executional extension of the promoters across all group businesses.
- Prepare structured briefs, presentations, notes, and dashboards for internal and external discussions.
- Track promoter-level priorities, decisions, commitments, and execution status across verticals.
- Support preparation for client meetings, partner discussions, board reviews, and strategic forums.
2. Strategy Execution, Reporting & Analysis:
- Build and maintain structured trackers for strategic initiatives, KPIs, and milestones.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting across business units, including performance summaries and variance analysis.
- Assist in data consolidation across sales, operations, finance, and marketing for leadership reviews.
- Translate high-level strategy into clear action plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
3. Business Development & Sales Strategy Support:
- Assist promoters and business heads in shaping sales strategy across verticals.
- Support identification of target sectors, key accounts, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales pitch decks, proposals, case studies, and follow-up documentation.
- Track sales pipelines, conversion metrics, customer engagement status, and closure progress.
4. Marketing, Direct Outreach & Brand Support:
- Support execution of direct marketing initiatives across digital channels.
- Assist with social media management support, including content planning, review, and coordination with agencies or internal teams.
- Provide support for ad creatives, campaign briefs, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate thought leadership initiatives such as articles, presentations, whitepapers, and event-related content.
5. Product, Technology & Implementation Support:
- Support promoters in tracking product and technology initiatives across the group.
- Assist in product rollout coordination, feature prioritization discussions, and implementation tracking.
- Act as a bridge between business teams and technology teams to ensure clarity of requirements and timelines.
- Support adoption monitoring and feedback loops for internal platforms, dashboards, and tools.
6. Operational Setup & Execution:
- Support operational setup for new initiatives, pilots, and business lines.
- Assist in defining SOPs, execution plans, and coordination across functions.
- Help resolve cross-functional bottlenecks by driving follow-ups and alignment.
- Support customer support escalation handling where promoter-level intervention or clarity is required.
7. Governance & Cross-Business Coordination:
- Support governance of business units by tracking objectives, reviews, and action items.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, governance councils, and review cadences.
- Maintain action trackers and ensure timely closure of governance decisions.
- Ensure alignment between promoters, business heads, and GCC functions.
8. Strategic Partnerships & External Coordination:
- Support identification, evaluation, and coordination of strategic partnerships.
- Assist in partner discussions, documentation, and follow-up execution.
- Track partnership performance and ensure commitments are executed across teams.
9. Cross-Business Exposure & Research:
- Work closely with leadership teams across GFR, Vidhilekh, Lightspeed, and Beejpoorti.
- Support research, benchmarking, and analysis across logistics, technology, agriculture, and trading sectors.
- Assist in preparing internal knowledge notes, summaries, and insights for leadership consumption.
Skills & Capabilities Required:
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with clarity and ownership.
- Strong coordination and follow-up discipline.
- High discretion, maturity, and comfort working directly with promoters.
- Exposure to consulting, startups, family businesses, or multi-vertical organizations preferred.
