ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES ROLE The role of the Senior Credit Officer(SCO) requires the incumbent to manage Credit Risk & Underwriting for the following businesses at BFL: 1. Loan Against Marketable Securities 2. Corporate and Structured Finance, & Warehouse Receipts Financing - These businesses contribute to nearly 10% of the AUM of BFL. The role will report to the Chief Commercial Credit Officer (CCCO). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will have the following responsibilities: 1. Underwriting of new proposals / renewals 2. Risk Management, Portfolio Monitoring & Margin Calls execution 3. Writing Credit Policies and Programs 4. Remedial Management 5. Credit and Risk Process Improvements, & Collaborating with Business Heads to identify new growth opportunities and execute them. - The SCO will be supported by a team of analysts based out of Mumbai and Pune. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLs : EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 1. Chartered Accountant / MBA 2. Maximum experience of 15 years in the financial services (lending) industry. 3. Minimum experience of 6 years in the financial services (lending) industry. 4. Underwriting / Risk Management experience of at least 5 years with reputed MNCs / Indian Pvt Sector Banks / NBFCs in Commercial / Capital Markets Lending businesses. SKILLS : 1. Entrepreneurial orientation - end to end ownership for delivering capabilities. 2. Ability to drive / work in cross functional teams. 3. Good communication skills, with proficiency in English 4. Positive & collaborative attitude
