JOB PURPOSE Work with clients across fintech, payment platforms and startup ecosystem to orchestrate an alliance relationship to solve the most complex new age product distribution challenges in exponentially powerful ways PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Business Accountability a. Owns the process for identifying high-impact parties to partner with/sell to through orchestrating a partner/customer assessment of their current needs and defining a value proposition to meet those needs. b. Conceptualize and execute complete value chain. c. Prioritizes and leads pursuits of large and transformative market opportunities and trends for BAGIC that provide opportunities for partners/customers to leverage BAGIC platforms/products by identifying, quantifying, and qualifying opportunities d. Enable partners to make decisions about strategic partnerships that deliver transformational growth and incremental earnings for BAGIC's eCommerce team e. Develop robust business models, conduct financial analysis, and combine with secondary research to identify new and strengthen existing opportunities with strategic alliance partners f. Organizes the creation of prospective pipelines and opportunities are built into deals across the ecosystem g. Owns the process for creating an action plan that spans across the end-to-end strategic landscape to ensure the deal is properly closed, in participation with internal partners h. Identifying opportunities in the partners i. Hunt for new partners for new partner tie-ups j. Build a sustainable relationship with identified partners/major platforms by collaborating on short-term and long-term agenda and developing win-win value propositions for shoppers, platform and BAGIC k. Manage and grow overall E-Com business for BAGIC by nurturing all potential digital channels (B2C, B2B, B2T, Digital Lead Conversion, etc.) and shaping all relevant product categories & services to unlock their full potential on E-Com. 2. Strategy Management a. Owning the P&L for e-Comm partnership for digital function achieving the top line and rise in profitability b. Work with a strong P&L owner mindset, always be on top of data, proactively identify and address potential issues and manage the P&L by effectively managing margins, schemes, budget and resources and taking timely actions to ensure the agreed P&L health c. Own, plan, and manage project with the team, which may include collaboration and coordination with a variety of stakeholders d. Understanding of the online compliance and legal nuances. e. Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, to develop strategic recommendations for the partners f. Managing partner relationship and working closely with partners to create GTM plans as well as successfully executing them g. Formulate business strategies by assessing consumer, channel, competition, key accounts, external factors, etc and setting directions for each crucial area such as Channel Strategy, Key Accounts Strategy, GTM, Category Strategy, Product Portfolio Mix, New Product Development, Marketing investments, Pricing & Margins, Consumer value propositions, etc h. Build a strong culture of user-first thinking and product planning to drive impactful outcomes across the entire lifecycle of the user i. Owns end-to-end functional thinking and discussions to design and champion partner/customer strategic deals for a commercial strategic framework that are aligned with strategic business objectives and partner/customer current state and needs at an appropriate motion and cadence for customer j. Oversees those strategic deals that incorporate relevant market factors (e.g., competitive, economic, industry-specific) to drive optimal results and return on investment k. Identifying opportunities of new products in attachment and cross sell categories within existing and new partners l. Devise Annual Operating Plan (AOP) covering monthly sales targets at SKU level, marketing investments, pricing & discounts, margins, resources, etc, create alignment with the stakeholders, and steer cross-functional activities to ensure high quality output in a time bound manner to deliver upon the AOP. m. Identify and steer capability building projects and strategic initiatives to strengthen bandwidth for future scale and gain edge over competitors 3. Stakeholder Management a. Oversees identification of the appropriate executive-level stakeholder within customers to connect and work with, in cooperation with Business Development and in pursuit of new business generation. b. Owns the orchestration of large-scale sales or partnership pursuits with customers/partners. Acts as the voice and a trusted advisor for customers/partners across the organization to oversee plans/programs c. Connects customers/partners with key senior level influencers/players, as well as BAGIC's value proposition, to lead effective customer models and strategies. d. Builds trusted advisor partnerships with executive-level leaders and managers, representing the organization to leadership across territories. Influences across the company to accomplish initiatives and achieve business goals, owning the relationships with cross-functional (e.g., finance, engineering, legal, commercial, product, sales segments) and partner team members e. Remain updated about recent trends of the industry and competition activities f. Facilitate joint business planning with all major key accounts in collaboration with concerned stakeholders from both sides covering sales targets, marketing plans, portfolio health assessment, process gap assessment and identification of required solutions, core events, long-term initiatives, etc. 4. People Management a. Needs to deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. i. Lead a team of 4-6 partner managers and program managers while demonstrating key manager behaviors of coaching, mentoring and inspiring high performing individual contribute Educational Qualifications Master's degree with 12-15 years of in the digital strategic alliance space with 8-10 years in E-Com business management (Engineering from premier institute like IIT, NIET, REC & MBA will be an added advantage) Skills and Knowledge: a) Had worked in internal or external consulting space with strong research, analytical and writing skills, and an excellent command of the English language b) Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive product decisions and roadmap c) A go-getter with a passion for independence, creative problem solving, strong ownership, high commitment, and a strong business judgment and result oriented d) Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and senior management e) Deep understanding of building brands on digital platforms and curiosity to drive innovation in marketing execution f) Demonstrated ability to beat highly aspirational business goals with a strong P&L owner mindset g) Develop compelling power point presentations and present to external Alliances Strategy leadership team h) Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a proven ability to innovate i) Highly collaborative - Should be able to steer agenda and influence wider range of people in formal and informal settings through logical argumentation & persuasion. j) Must show the ability to bring clarity in decision making and ruthless prioritization
