1. Overall Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning for creating positive visibility of the company amongst all media - traditional and new age

- Weekly/Monthly/Annual plans to ensure key messages are delivered leveraging all key spokes people and media tools

- Assisting Corp comm. head and CMO to deliver on all communication needs in a timely manner

- Ensuring consistent and positive engagement with all MANCOM members and other key members of different teams

- Deliver Corp Communication requirements along with team members (as and when hired)

- Managing and delivering Corporate communications requirement including award entries, speeches, letters etc. for the company

2. PR & Media Responsibility

- Create and monitor PR plans and media outreach on behalf of the company

- Single handedly manage all media requirements on behalf of the company

- Ensuring positive media visibility to remain amongst the top three brands in SOV amongst private life insurance players

- In Print and online media

- Proactively engage with media to communicate the company's key messages through:

- Interview, media conference, media release with the senior leadership and article placements

- Build and strengthen media relationships across the board to be the first point of contact for media and BALIC

- Develop a PR calendar to secure coverage across media platforms including print, TV and digital media

- Strong content background to write, edit and suggest any changes as per company narrative

- Develop articles, press releases, Q&A, briefing books on behalf of spokes people for media

- Manage PR agency to enable larger media engagement and visibility through their network, and for other day-to-day media

- Work with companies that analyze and measure PR activity

- Crisis management along with agencies and internal stakeholders

- Media train and brief spokespeople for any media engagement with strategic messages of the company

- Preparing, maintaining and sharing coverages / dossiers in a timely manner for all media articles

- Ensure Zero error documents are shared with media

- Strong content skill requirement with good reading and writing capabilities

- Smart and Sensible to handle and manage all media relations for the company

3. Corporate Communications

- Single point of contact for all communications needs of the company

- Develop partner communication, stakeholder communication, vendor communication, investments related communication, award nominations

- File award nominations on behalf of the Company

- Manage any and all communications on behalf of the corporate as and when required

- Identify opportunities for senior leadership in external public speaking forums, and prepare briefing documents and speeches for them

- Adhere and follow all compliance related requirements

- To ensure all brand guidelines are adhered to for all activities undertaken

4. Stakeholder Management & Team Management

- All Leadership levels in BALIC including Mancom

- Legal Team : Regulatory Compliance and Legal

- Media & PR Agencies

- Vendor Management

- Direct and guide Team of 2 PR Professionals
