Experience : 4 to 7 years in vendor management, commercial finance, procurement operations, or compliance. Hands-on experience in vendor agreements, commercial documentation, compliance tracking, and ERP systems.

Role Overview :

The Back End Commercial manager will be responsible for managing vendor-related commercial operations, agreements, and compliance. The role ensures smooth vendor onboarding, contract management, documentation control, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. It requires close coordination with procurement, marketing, IT, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure effective vendor governance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Vendor Management & Commercial Operations :

- Manage end-to-end vendor commercial operations and documentation processes.

- Oversee vendor onboarding, KYC verification, and compliance documentation.

- Coordinate with procurement and business teams for vendor-related commercial activities.

- Prepare MIS reports, compliance trackers, and management dashboards.

- Monitor outstanding issues, discrepancies, and vendor escalations.

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.

- Support internal and statutory audits and ensure DOA adherence

- Drive process standardization and operational efficiency initiatives.

Agreement & Contract Management :

- Review and maintain vendor agreements, contracts, and commercial terms.

- Track renewals, SLAs, validity, and key compliance timelines.

- Coordinate contract execution and amendments with legal/procurement.

- Ensure proper contract documentation and record management.

Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure vendor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor procurement governance and control adherence.

- Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all vendor transactions.

Qualifications :

- CA / MBA Finance / Commerce Graduate or equivalent finance/accounting qualification.

- Certifications in procurement, compliance, or contract management are an added advantage.

Key Competencies :

- Strong knowledge of vendor management, commercial operations, and compliance processes.

- Good understanding of procurement workflows, invoicing, and financial controls.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
