Role Overview:

Bacancy Technology is looking for a highly experienced Technical Architect with 15+ years of experience in software architecture and technology engineering.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining scalable technical architectures, guiding engineering teams, making critical technology decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex enterprise applications.

This position is strictly for candidates currently based in Ahmedabad and willing to work from Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the technical architecture for complex software applications and enterprise solutions.

- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.

- Lead architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and technical decision-making.

- Design system architecture, application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

- Establish technical standards, design principles, coding practices, and architectural guidelines.

- Evaluate new technologies and recommend appropriate technology stacks based on business requirements.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior developers, tech leads, and engineering teams.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.

- Identify technical risks, scalability challenges, performance bottlenecks, and security concerns.

- Work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

- Support technical estimation, solution planning, POCs, and proposal discussions.

- Drive modernization, refactoring, and migration initiatives where required.

- Participate in client discussions and provide technical consultation to enterprise stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 15+ years of experience in software development, engineering, and technical architecture.

- Strong experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.

- Strong hands-on understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns.

- Excellent knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud architecture, and system integration.

- Strong experience with one or more modern technology ecosystems such as .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel, or similar.

- Good understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Strong knowledge of scalability, performance optimization, security, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

- Experience designing enterprise-grade and high-traffic applications.

- Strong understanding of architecture patterns, SOLID principles, OOP, design patterns, and system design.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to provide technical direction across multiple engineering teams.

- Experience mentoring and developing senior technical talent.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong decision-making and ownership mindset.

- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities, timelines, and budgets.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working with US / international clients.

- Experience in product engineering or large-scale IT services organizations.

- Experience with AI/ML integration, cloud migration, distributed systems, or enterprise modernization.

- Experience participating in client-facing solutioning, pre-sales, and technical proposal discussions.

- Architecture certifications such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.

Location Requirement:

- Candidates must be currently based in Ahmedabad and should be comfortable working from the Bacancy Technology Ahmedabad office.
