Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale a nationwide B2B distribution network for books through retailers, wholesalers, schools, libraries, and bookstores.
- Establish partnerships with offline distribution channels such as Crossword, academic bookstores, and regional wholesalers.
- Develop and manage P&L for the B2B vertical.
- Launch a technology-enabled B2B ordering platform (Repro Portal) for bulk book purchases.
- Drive business growth by showcasing the value proposition - ease of ordering, wide availability, and competitive pricing.
- Identify new business opportunities such as book fairs, exhibitions, and institutional sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams for supply chain, logistics, and tech enablement.
- Create go-to-market strategies to onboard distributors and retailers.
- Hire and lead the B2B team for business development and operations.
Key Requirements:
- 815 years of experience in B2B sales, channel distribution, or business development.
- Proven record of setting up or scaling distribution networks from scratch.
- Background in FMCG, consumer goods, publishing, or retail preferred.
- Strong understanding of on-ground B2B tie-ups and channel management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a new business vertical.
